Full House plot

Not only does Danny Tanner have a stressful full-time job as a sports reporter for a local TV station, but after the sudden death of his wife, he is also faced with the difficult task of raising his three daughters, DJ , Stephanie and Michelle. The stressed-out widower is happily supported by his crazy brother-in-law Jesse and his best friend Joey. But the two do not correspond to what is generally understood with the parental role and are totally inexperienced in this. Jesse is a passionate motorcyclist, absolute Elvis freak and leader of a band called "Jesse and the Rippers". Joey is a comedy actor who specializes in imitating cartoon voices and resembles a grown man, although he does not always behave that way. Despite honest efforts, the three men turn out to be an educational trio.

Full House season 1

I agree with Arno, I think it's terribly underrated here. Of course it is not a gem and there are better series to come up with, but it is a wonderful series to look away mindlessly. In the meantime also a lot progressed with the second season, which I still like better and more fun than the first, especially because Michelle starts talking.

What I like the most about this season, which will also continue in the next season, is the love I see especially between Michelle and Jesse. Every episode a little more, as if it's his own child facing him and it also seems that Michelle reacts best to him during the filming. I'm not sure how to explain it, but the chemistry between them really seems to be the strongest.

I also often have the idea that quite a bit is improvised and I can appreciate that. In my opinion, how everyone reacts to the children is not always acted upon. Stephanie who regularly laughs, where I don't think that's quite the intention. However, most of the improv takes place with, again, Michelle. I suspect that this will decrease in later seasons, as soon as she is a bit older. I think it's nice to see that they can really enjoy themselves. Don't get any pressure at all, but especially the feeling that they have made this with so much fun. This also means something to me and that is precisely why I can enjoy the series.

I'll keep watching for the time being, we'll see if I watch all eight seasons.
