Eastbound & Down plot
Baseball player Kenny Powers was destined to make it. After his career fizzled out, he returns to his hometown to work as a gym teacher. He seizes every opportunity to take advantage of his little lingering fame, all the while planning his inevitable comeback in the Big Leagues.

Great series. Season 1 takes some getting used to, both the tone and Kenny Powers, but that takes... a little while. I quickly found myself immersed in this wacky (and short) series, thoroughly enjoying it and laughing so much. The ending is, without a doubt, one of the best endings I've ever seen. This is truly an excellent comedy.
