De Luizenmoeder plot

De Luizenmoeder is set in primary school and follows parents and teachers who fight their feuds over the children's heads. Determined to get her life back on track as soon as possible after the divorce, Hannah, the new mother with a daughter in group three, plunges into the world that takes place in and around the schoolyard of primary school De Klimop. Civic integration courses are unfortunately not given, so Hannah tries to master the mores of the schoolyard by trial and error. Even though she had vowed not to let herself be put to the test at this school, strange teachers and the all-consuming 'mother mafia' don't make it easy for her.

Seizoen 1 vond ik eerlijk gezegd eigenlijk alleen aflevering 1 en 2 echt leuk, daarna werd het steeds matiger. Dit tweede seizoen vind ik echt heel erg zwak, de eerste vier, vijf afleveringen vond ik er totaal niets aan, de afgelopen twee afleveringen hebben zo hun momenten, maar het is toch allemaal vrij matig. Vind ook de meeste personages steeds meer een karikatuur geworden, zeker dat schoolhoofd, waardoor het steeds flauwer en ongeloofwaardiger wordt. Goede keuze om na dit seizoen te stoppen, het is duidelijk al weer over het hoogtepunt heen.

I honestly only really liked season 1 and episodes 1 and 2, after that it got more and more mediocre.

I think this second season is really very weak, I didn't like the first four or five episodes at all, the last two episodes have their moments, but it's all pretty mediocre.

Also find most characters have become more and more a caricature, especially that school principal, making it more and more bland and unbelievable.

Good choice to stop after this season, it is clearly past the peak.
