De Lachende Scheerkwast plot

The central figure in the series is Rein Schaambergen, head of the school with the Bible. Rein, who is not religious and often swears, is disappointed with the church and the school with the Bible. When he makes a fuss with various parents at a parents' evening, he is fired. Rein then embarks on an adventure with an attractive young lady who wants to record a picture. He also does not have it easy at home with his wife Ria and daughter Irene. In the series we also follow other types from Wim T. Schippers' stables, as a result of which different storylines are intertwined, such as Gé Braadslee who starts a flower shop. Furthermore, Rein regularly speaks with Jacques Plafond in the Willy Dobbeplantsoen.
