New York's newest resident, Cupid, must pair up a hundred couples before he can return home to Mount Olympus. He has been punished by the gods for his current sad feats of love. Without his trademark bow and arrow, Cupid must learn how love really works as he builds a life in New York City. There, living under the name Trevor Hale, he meets the famous psychologist and author Dr. Claire Allen. She helps lonely people in search of happiness in love, although she has a very different view of love than Trevor. As they work together, Claire tries to figure out who Trevor really is. Is he Cupid, or just a man gone mad?
