Baskets plot

Chip Baskets is a man from Bakersfield, California who dreams of becoming a professional clown. He goes to Paris to train at a prestigious clown school. Due to financial problems and an impenetrable language barrier, he is unable to complete the training. With high hopes, he decides to return to Bakersfield. There he goes to work as a rodeo clown and has to compete with his siblings for his mother's approval and affection.
