Barney Miller plot

Barney Miller is mainly set in the offices of a fictional police station, 12th Precinct, in Greenwich Village in Manhattan, New York. This police station is run by the sensible Barney Miller who uses humor to keep his team going in the hectic work they have to do. The team has to deal with complaining people and the most diverse suspects on a daily basis. All the paperwork that has to be done besides that doesn't make it much better either.
