Sprookjesboom plot

Various characters from the Fairytale Forest in Efteling play a role in this animated children's series from Efteling, such as Little Red Riding Hood, the Witch, the Wolf and Tom Thumb. They look approximately as they appear in the Fairytale Forest, and behave recognizably after the fairytales they are based on. These fairytale characters experience adventures in a collective world that transcends the boundaries of the individual fairytales. Their characters are also much more developed and concretized than in the fairy tales. Narrator of each episode is the wise old Fairy Tree, who opens and closes each episode by leading in and out of the story. He himself is also present in the world, and interacts with the fairytale characters.
