The Adventures of Swiss Family Robinson plot

In the first half of the nineteenth century, David Robinson is tasked by his father-in-law with taking charge of their company's new office in China. The Robinson family then departs by boat from Boston to Canton. However, they are shipwrecked and end up on a remote, uninhabited island. They must defend themselves against pirates, wild animals, and Mother Nature. Together, they try to rebuild their lives.
