Stargate SG-1 plot

Stargate SG-1 picks up where the movie left off. It turns out that the Goa'uld Ra was just one of many aliens who took advantage of the Stargates to conquer the universe. Once Earth discovers a list of working Stargate addresses, they can travel anywhere. The US Air Force sends out SG teams to explore new planets, find technologies and defeat the Goa'uld. Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson from the original movie are members of the elite team SG-1. Together with Samantha Carter, a scholar, and Tea'lc, a Jaffa alien who no longer believes in false gods, they embark on the adventure.
