Smallville plot
Smallville is a drama series that follows the challenges and trials of young Clark Kent before he becomes Superman. Set in Smallville, Kansas, Smallville tells stories such as the discovery of the empowering green rocks and Clark Kent's introduction to a young Lex Luthor, and his friendship with Chloe Sullivan and Lana Lang. Later in the series, the well-known reporter Lois Lane also enters his life.

You can see the actors improving, and some are even temporarily given different roles, which are played well. It remains a kind of soap opera, but a lot happens, and it's never tedious or boring, and the series' central theme continues season after season.
