Tyrant plot
Bassam "Barry" Al-Fayeed, the son of a notorious Middle Eastern tyrant, has been on the run from his past for 20 years. He is now a doctor with a family in the United States and lives a normal, nondescript life. When he has to return to his homeland, the fictional Abbudin for a wedding, he is sucked in by a political crisis and the revolution against the ruling family. His father dies and Bassam must use his influence to guide the president, his brutal and unstable brother Jamal, to a political solution that can end the bloody conflict.
