Knightfall plot

The Order of the Knights Templar was one of the most powerful, wealthy and mysterious military orders of the Middle Ages, charged with protecting the most expensive Christian relic - the Holy Grail - and safeguarding secrets that would allow for great destruction. Knightfall recounts the fall, persecution and burnings of the Templars, as orchestrated by Popes Clement V and Philip IV of France on Friday, October 13, 1307. At its center is Templar leader Sir Landry, a courageous fighter disheartened by the Templars' failure in the Holy Land, which is revived by the news that the Holy Grail has surfaced.

Goede serie over de Tempeliers. ENIGSZINS gebaseerd op ware feiten, namelijk het feit dat koning Filips de Tempeliers probeerde te ontmantelen. Hier heeft men er een mooi romantisch-episch verhaal van gemaakt, die wel heerlijk wegkijkt. Twijfelde tussen 3,5 a 4 sterren zelfs.

Good series about the Templars. SOMETHING based on true facts, namely the fact that King Philip was trying to dismantle the Templars. Here they have made a beautiful romantic-epic story, which is wonderful to look away. I even hesitated between 3.5 and 4 stars.
