Violetta, a young Mexican woman, is bored with her life in Mexico. With a bag full of money, she flees her homeland to start over in New York City. But instead of living a dream, Violetta is awakened by a harsh reality when she runs out of money and falls into the arms of the villainous Nefastófeles. Then Violeta tries to do everything she can to escape him and regain her freedom.
