Commando's plot

Commando John de Koning is in charge of a secret operation in which the son of a high-ranking Nigerian official must be rescued from the hands of the terrorist organization Boko Haram. However, the mission doesn't go quite as planned and strange things happen. So strange that Europol - three years later - decides to conduct an in-depth investigation into John & co. to start. Traumatized by the failed mission in Nigeria, John is meanwhile confronted by a killer who tries to eliminate his former comrades in arms. He goes into battle, but ends up in a war in which he threatens to lose his mates, his family and himself.

Commando's season 1

First episode doesn't bode well, couldn't get me at all and that's not due to the cast, which is just ok. The constant flashbacks are also to blame for this.
