Who Killed Jill Dando? plot

In-depth documentary about the shocking murder of Jill Dando. In April 1999, the BBC presenter and journalist was shot dead on her doorstep in broad daylight with a single bullet. A local man, Barry George, was convicted and imprisoned for the murder, but after eight years in prison he was acquitted following an appeal and a retrial. No other suspect has been charged with Dando's murder, and the case remains unsolved.

Nice snack for the seasoned true crime lover. Hadn't heard of this case before. Perhaps due to the tragic death of Princess Diana, 2 years before, this was not picked up on the mainland.

Jill Dando also resembles Lady Di and was a crowd favorite just like Diana.

A few creepy suspects pass by, including James Shackleton, a tall undertaker.

A bit of what you can expect from a true crime documentary about an unsolved murder case: a lot of more or less likely theories about the motive or the perpetrator. It gives a good impression of the person Jill Dando and what she has meant to the British public, but otherwise you are left wanting.
