Tokyo Ghoul plot

Student Ken Kaneki meets a woman who, like him, is interested in literature. During their date, the woman becomes monstrous and attacks Kaneki. She turns out to be a Ghoul, a humanoid creature that hunts people and devours their flesh to survive. Kaneki is taken to hospital in critical condition. The woman, killed in the attack, is used by the doctors to save Kaneki. However, her organs transform Kaneki into a hybrid. He too will now have to consume human flesh to survive. Ghouls who run a coffee shop teach him to cope with his new life.
