Teacher Fritzie Kühne receives a shocking diagnosis: she has advanced breast cancer. Fritzie doesn't want to face the reality of a necessary surgery, especially since her life is going very well. Together with her best friend, the headmistress Selma, she successfully led her school out of a crisis. Even Fritzie's son Florian's puberty has been relatively unspectacular thus far. Will everything change now?
