The city of Hamelin has a lot of problems with rats. No one can chase them away, until a strange figure reports to Mayor Walg at the town hall of Hamelin. He says he can chase the rats away if he gets a pot of gold as a reward. The so-called Pied Piper blows the rats away with his magic flute. The whole of Hamelin is overjoyed, except for the mayor and his city council. They could use the pot of gold for something else. Master Spicht therefore talks the mayor around, and wants to give the Pied Piper something else. But the Pied Piper is not satisfied and walks away angrily. In revenge, he blows all the kids out of town the next night, plus four adults.
