Penny Dreadful: City of Angels plot
Los Angeles 1938. The city is deeply steeped in social and political tensions. When a gruesome murder shocks the city, Detective Tiago Vega and his partner Lewis Michener find themselves embroiled in an epic tale that reflects Los Angeles' rich history: from the construction of the city's first freeways and the deep traditions of the Mexican-American folklore to the dangerous espionage of the Third Reich and the rise of radio evangelism.
