Sygeplejeskolen plot
We follow Erik and Anna who, in the 1950s, are one of the first to be admitted to a nursing school where men and women are trained together. Due to a lack of trained nurses, the Danish government has decided on a trial basis that it is socially acceptable for a man to work as a nurse. However, it turns out that it is not easy for men to be accepted as nurses in a work environment with old-fashioned hierarchies and strict disciplinary work ethic.
