Family Affair plot

Bill Davis' carefree single life is just about perfect. A well-paying job as an engineer, a lavish apartment on Manhattan's Fifth Avenue with an English butler, Mr. French. One day, he gains custody of three young orphans, six-year-old twins Buffy and Jody and 15-year-old Cissy. Their parents, Bill's brother and sister-in-law, have died in an accident and his relatives feel that Bill can take the best care of them. Despite initial doubts, Bill and Mr. French is very attached to the children and teaches them to adjust their lifestyle and make room for the new members of the household.
