Wizards of Waverly Place plot

The series revolves around Alex Russo, her older brother Justin and their younger brother Max. They appear to be three normal people, but in reality they are wizards. They got their magical powers from their father, who was once a wizard himself but gave up his magic voluntarily because he wanted to marry a mortal (which is actually forbidden).
