Tom Corbett is a widower and works as a magazine publisher. After the death of his wife, Tom has to take care of their young son Eddie all by himself. Eddie and his father get along well and love each other very much. Eddie wants nothing more than for his father to be happy again with a woman. Tom himself also shows an interest in women, but finds it difficult to take the step. Fortunately, Eddie is there to help his father in situations like this.
