Oh my, what a wonderful series. Captivating from start to finish. From the conversations to the actions, from the storylines to the 'twists'. The music, the actors, the atmosphere... Delicious! Only downside: unfortunately only ten episodes...

Ambitious HBO series, a remake of Michael Crichton's 1973 film of the same name. The film also served as inspiration for his book Jurassic Park. So robots instead of dinosaurs. A very good idea for a remake, especially for television, but unfortunately the series is not always worth it. Especially episodes three to seven are less interesting and quite boring. Everything just flows on and on and the events often repeat themselves. Philosophically and technically enough, but tension and spectacle are hard to find. It all looks great, though. No expense has been spared to make it visually beautiful. Fortunately, the finale has a few pleasant surprises in store for the viewer and things get very exciting towards the end. Only then will things go completely wild and the full potential of the concept will be realised.

Very disappointing, hard to follow, often lost track. . It looks great, but the chaotic storylines made this season a terrible letdown! Pity!
