Alec Callender is a fifty-three-year-old successful attorney and partner in the Semple, Callender and Henty law practice. Alec is mainly presented with small, simple things. Through work he meets twenty-six-year-old gymnastics teacher Zoë Angell. The two fall in love and try to organize their new life as best as possible, although this is not always easy.
