AI: Harlan Coben's series worden als zwak beschouwd vanwege een focus op plotwendingen boven karakterontwikkeling, waardoor personages domme dingen doen en onrealistische keuzes maken. Ik had hier niets van verwacht, zoals van de meeste Coben series, maar dit was van een zeer bedenkelijk allooi, en soms zelfs redelijk belachelijk en totaal ongeloofwaardig. Er is o.a een hoofdrol voor Annette Badland, die ook een hoofdrol heeft in Midsomer Murders, en het is ook gewoon dat niveau. Het acteren is afschuwelijk slecht, ook de normaal goede acteur Nesbitt verdrinkt mee. Het zou weer niet misstaan tussen de series op BBC First. Voor de liefhebbers, maar absoluut niet voor mij...

It wouldn't look out of place among the series on BBC First.

For the enthusiasts, but definitely not for me...

Ik wist niet wat ik zag. Wat is dit superslecht zeg. De acteurs zijn tenenkrommend, de regie, den kleuren.... Alles is zo nep. Op IMDb een 6,9

I couldn't believe my eyes. This is absolutely terrible. The actors are cringeworthy, the direction, the colors... Everything is so fake. A 6.9 on IMDb

Weer een typische Harlan Coben verfilming, met veel (onwaarschijnlijke) plotwendingen. Ik vind de stijl van Coben-verfilmingen wel leuk, maar de plotwendingen en de bijzondere slotaflevering maken het dat mijn beoordeling op max 3 komt.

Another typical Harlan Coben adaptation, with many (unbelievable) plot twists. I like the style of Coben adaptations, but the plot twists and the unusual final episode mean my rating drops to a 3.
