My Lady Jane plot
The series tells the story of Lady Jane Gray and the history of England if certain things would have turned out differently. For example, Edward, the son of King Henry VII, does not die of tuberculosis in this alternative telling, nor are Jane Gray and her husband beheaded. In this alternate history, Jane is unexpectedly crowned queen overnight and becomes the target of villains who target her.

Surprisingly nice series.
The narrator alone is great - so wonderfully dry. Despite the humorous approach and the special narrative, you still sympathize with the characters. Lots of things are happening. It doesn't get long-winded anywhere.
Jane is a believable protagonist and Mary portrays a good villain. The only downside I think is the casting of Guilford.
I'm looking forward to the second season.
