Dee Dee Blanchard, a single mother, convinces everyone that her healthy daughter, Gypsy, is seriously ill. When Dee Dee is found lifeless with multiple stab wounds, neighbors and family are stunned to discover that Gypsy is the perpetrator. Gypsy had convinced her boyfriend to kill her mother. For this, Gypsy was sentenced to 8 years in prison. In this docuseries, Gypsy tells her story about her mother's role during her childhood and the torture she had to endure.
