It all remains cool, even with that soundtrack, even Radiohead. Truly a one of a kind series. Well okay, there are plenty of rise and fall stories, but here the fall never stops. Fortunately, that means it's not finished yet hopefully.

I honestly don't understand the broad enthusiasm: highest average on this site and elsewhere, I also read that this is the most watched Peaky season ever. Sure, the acting is very good, it looks very nice at times, there are beautiful scenes in it - but those are more or less the qualities that make every Peaky season so worthwhile (although you can see that there are budget is more possible in terms of locations after season 1, but that improvement already starts in season 2). What I also think is successful about season 4 is that they go back to the bascis: the well-known decor, a classic enemy. That's the only thing I think is going wrong. Brody plays, well, unforgettable, but I'm not sure I really like his Marlon Brando impersonation, at least it feels a bit clownish at times. Also, more disturbing: there are so many moments in the series where he can shoot someone from the Shelby family or Shelby himself, I understand that honor codes can play a role in something like that, but this seemed more believable to me : as if they always wanted to show the seriousness of the bad guy, but at the same time not let too many important characters die. It made it a bit simple, almost childish. In addition, the final episode, @thomas83 already indicated it, was very full and busy, actually just way too full: developments follow each other so quickly that I couldn't really go along with anything. Unfortunately. (But I'll be ready for season 5, of course, because I'm still very fond of Peaky.)
