Máxima plot

From the moment Máxima Zorreguieta appears at the side of the Dutch Crown Prince, she is in the spotlight. When Willem-Alexander asks her to marry, the past catches up with her when a heated discussion erupts about her father's political career in the Videla regime. A discussion that has never been had in her own circles. What makes this Argentinian ultimately flourish at an old European court? And how can Máxima remain true to herself without giving up her family, or do those two things not go together?

At first, purely judging by the short content and genre, this wouldn't be my thing, but the series completely proves the opposite. The series captivated me almost immediately and the fact that a lot of attention is paid to the Argentinian storyline makes it extremely fascinating for me. And of course Delfina Chaves is great to sublime in the role of Máxima and completely carries the series. Also a beautiful appearance. 8.5/10
