Less season, but still very entertaining. The confrontation with influential psychopath Silver is well constructed. Chozen is a nice addition too. The karate action remains a strong point.

Downsides are that on several fronts relationship nonsense such as it was too much in season 2 returns and that the final episode is quite unbelievable. It's all gotten a bit over the top...the Cobra is jumping the shark. I also miss a bit of history between Silver and Chozen, which keeps Chozen's motivation a bit meager.

Furthermore, Silver and Kreese remain too one-dimensional. I had hoped for more depth, especially with Kreese.

As for credibility...

Chozen already had two long sai daggers hidden with him during that party?

The way Kreese escapes...

You already had to love this children's/b-movie/nostalgia series, but this season there is very little new on the horizon. Then the mediocre sides start to stand out a bit too much. Every now and then I even started to look a bit with half an eye.

Thomas Ian Griffith as the bad guy is one of the best choices of the series. On the other hand, the constant switching and overflowing of the dojo kids is really unbearable anymore.

A next season with Kreese back as bad guy I'm already a bit yawning. His role was not too good this season. The only fun thing I can imagine is Hilary Swank making her appearance.

Best season since the first season. The teen drama has been scaled back quite a bit and it's paying off. It feels more mature, the fights are top notch. Cobra Kai is back!
