Atlanta plot

Earnest 'Earn' Marks is followed during his daily life in Atlanta, Georgia. Earn dropped out of Princeton University, has no money and no home. He therefore alternately stays with his parents and his ex-girlfriend Van, who is also the mother of his daughter Lottie. Once he realizes that his cousin Alfred "Paper Boi" Miles is on the brink of stardom, he tries to reconnect with him to improve his life and that of his daughter. The two cousins soon work their way up the Atlanta rap scene.

Tegenvallend seizoen. Kan me best voorstellen dat dit voor sommige mensen smullen is qua Glover’s weirdness maar dit ging me iets té ver, een beetje lineariteit had geen kwaad gekund. Duidelijk dat ze wat te vertellen hadden qua kritiek op de huidige maatschappij, maar jammer dat ze niet een manier konden vinden om het natuurlijk te verwerken in het seizoen, met alle hoofdrollen aanwezig. Was een beetje 75% Atlanta en 25% Black Mirror nu.

Disappointing season. I can imagine that for some people this is a feast in terms of Glover's weirdness, but this went a bit too far for me, a little linearity wouldn't have hurt. Obviously they had something to say in terms of criticism of today's society, but too bad they couldn't find a way to naturally incorporate it into the season, with all the lead roles present. Was a bit 75% Atlanta and 25% Black Mirror now.
