Chosen plot

Seventeen-year-old Emma has always felt different from the others in Middelbo, Denmark. This town was literally put on the map by a meteor strike seventeen years earlier, it is said. When Emma accidentally learns that this meteor story is a lie, and that the sleepy town's origin story is far more incredible and dangerous, she also learns a startling truth about her own identity.
