My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic plot

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic begins with a unicorn named Twilight Sparkle, a student of Equestria's ruler, Princess Celestia. After seeing her student only dealing with books, Princess Celestia sends her to Ponyville with the assignment to make some friends. Twilight Sparkle, along with her assistant, a baby dragon named Spike, befriends the ponies Pinkie Pie, AppleJack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy. Together they experience adventures inside and outside the city and solve various problems.
