Kelsey Grammer has finally spoken about his cameo in The Marvels.
In a post-credits scene following the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, Grammer reprised his role as Beast from X-Men: The Last Stand in a parallel universe after Monica Rambeau wakes up in a different world.
It is the clearest indication yet that some of our other favourite mutants will soon enter the MCU.
And, there will be more to come from Hank McCoy/Beast if Grammer gets his wish.
It is my hope that you will see him again," the Frasier actor told The Wrap.
"I can say with a certain amount of confidence that you will. I would love to. very pleased . A lot of people got in touch I’ve always wanted to play him again. I see him as an extraordinary character, a real character of gravitas and importance in our culture.
"I’m delighted Beast is back and hope he’s back in a real way."
X-Men to enter the MCU soon
Marvel chief Kevin Feige says the X-Men could join the MCU soon.
"The X-Men are as solid and as rich and as a great a concept in characters as exist," he told EW. "There's the return of the animated series next year, which we're very excited about. I saw some new final episodes today, which really bring you back to that core of who the X-Men are and that soap opera that those characters represent.
"And then in live-action, people will see. Perhaps soon."
Feige has already worked on X-Men, X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand as a producer and has previously stated that the X-Men are some of his favourite comic book characters of all time.
But, the time when they enter the MCU is crucial.
"Part of the fun is that I've been at this company for half my life, and we're just now tapping into arguably one of the biggest aspects of the publishing history," he said.
"It's pretty remarkable, and it's a testament to the house of ideas and what Marvel publishing has done these 80 years. The question is how to do it and when to do it, and that's something we've been working on for years."
