Jonah Hex is not a particularly beloved movie, even by its star Josh Brolin.
It is a supernatural western superhero movie based on the DC Comic of the same name. It told the story of a man left for dead after his family is murdered, only to be mystically revived to seek revenge on those responsible.
Jonah Hex has a rating of 2.51 on MovieMeter and on a budget of $47 million it made just $11m worldwide - a huge critical and commercial failure.
The movie and Brolin received plenty of criticism after its release, and the star has recalled the worst review he received which came from a wheelchair-bound fan at the premiere.
"We left early as one does at their own premiere and there was a guy in a wheelchair that left just before me that didn't see that I left behind him," he said on the Smartless podcast.
"He thought he was by himself and was wheeling himself out and he said, '86 minutes of a waste of f**king life.' The worst review I've ever gotten."
Brolin does believe that studio interference made the movie even worse.
"The studio kind of took over that movie and they made it even worse than it already was and it wasn't that bad. It really wasn't that bad," he added.
Jonah Hex co-starred Megan Fox, John Malkovich, Michael Fassbender and Smartless co-host Will Arnett.
