Anita Morell arrives by stagecoach in a small California town. Anita learns that her father has been murdered and that her father's gold mine has been claimed by corrupt banker Gil Kirby and his accomplice Jeff Gorman. Anita can count on the help of Texas Ranger Captain Tex Lake and masked horseman Joaquin Murietta, also known as 'The Gray Shadow'.
