Marshals Boyd, Davis and Powell are dispatched to arrest bandit Vic Landreau. They find him in a lawless town run by Mort Slade and his corrupt sheriff. When the marshals arrest Landreau, the sheriff intervenes and arrests Boyd and throws him in his cell.
