"EDDIE RIDES THE WESTWARD TRAIL TO GLORY!"
Ann Howard and her brother Tom from the East buy a ranch near Prairie City, unaware that a rich vein of silver runs through the ranch's territory. A gang of outlaws led by corrupt Prairie City Sheriff Buck McNeal tries to take control of the ranch. Tom doesn't feel comfortable in the Wild West and he wants to go back to the East. McNeal urges Tom to talk his sister out of the ranch again and then sell it to him. McNeal forges the deed of sale, so he doesn't have to pay Tom and Ann money and he even blackmails both. Federal agent Eddie Dean learns of the case and plans to work with his faithful friend "Soapy" Jones to expose McNeal.
