The Trackers plot
When Texas rancher Sam Paxton enters his house one day, he finds the dead body of his son. His daughter is found missing and a fugitive Apache Indian provides him with the only clue to the suspected perpetrators, just by his presence. Paxton unites with some local residents and asks the US Marshals for the best tracker they have. However, the man sent with them does not live up to expectations. Besides the fact that the stubborn Ezekiel Smith is not the man they expected, he is also black, so that he usually does not have to count on very much candor from the people of the area. Yet they must now put their trust in him in a manhunt for the murderous kidnappers.
