The Taming of the West plot
"Cowboys may come and go, but when it comes to a smiling, hard riding, fighting, roping son of the West, Hoot takes the prize."
John Carleton's father sends his son to the Wild West in hopes of becoming a man there. That happens, and Carleton soon commands respect from the smiling cowboys. Then he even solves some problems.
