The Night Rider plot
Police officer John Brown is after a mysterious masked outlaw known as 'The Night Rider'. The Night Rider keeps attacking local ranchers. John poses as Jim Blake and goes to work at the Rogers Ranch. He can count on the support of the comic Altoonie and the Mexican Manuel Alonzo Valdez. John finds a secret route from the Rogers mine to Dan and Barbara Rogers' house, which is used by The Night Rider. John also finds a letter that he has written to his accomplices. John wants to use The Night Rider's handwriting to trap him and his henchmen, but is shocked to discover that the local villagers think he is The Night Rider.
