The Nevadan plot
Under orders from the federal government, US Marshal Andrew Barclay goes in cognito to the town of Red Sand to recover stolen gold bars worth $250,000. Barclay deliberately lets the prime suspect Tom Tanner escape to use him as bait. Hopefully Tanner will go to the hiding place of the stolen gold. Barclay then has to deal with ranch owner Edward Galt and his hired gunslinger Sandy, who are also looking for the stolen gold. Things get complicated when Barclay falls in love with Edward Galt's daughter Karen.
