The Meeksville Ghost plot
Liberty, 1878. Lucius Meeks falls in love with Isobel and his rival in love challenges him to a bet and a duel with their honor and the city's deeds of title at stake. Lucius wins the bet and his love tries to prevent the duel. Lucius, however, does not listen and will be forever cursed until one of his next of kin returns the deeds to the rightful family. That is not easy, however, because the two families still have a feud even in the present.
