"The story of a gal who could dish it out...and take it!"
Wyoming Territory, 1869. James 'Jim' Cork hopes to gain control of the town by manipulating lot sales in the new railroad town of Laraville. The Quaker and schoolmistress Annie Morgan owns an important lot. Cork's attorney Steve Lewis tries to hit on Annie to get the lot back. But Steve finds a woman so overwhelmingly emancipated that it makes him dizzy. Still, Steve gets his hands on Annie's lot, but seems to deeply regret it.
