The Half Breed plot
Cattle dealer Delmar Spavinaw is the son of an Indian mother and a white father. In vying for Evelyn Huntington's hand, he faces competition from widower Ross Kennion. Evelyn has a hard time choosing between the two rivals. Her friend Dolly Pardeau doesn't want Evelyn to choose Delmar, so she tells Delmar that Evelyn loves Kennion. Meanwhile, Kennion tries to drive Delmar's mother off her land. Delmar's mother cannot count on the help of Evelyn's father, who is a district judge. Delmar takes the law into his own hands and hires some shady characters and ambush Kennion and his men.
