The Feud of the Trail plot
Tom Wade, an agent with a rancher's organization, looks just like the dying "outlaw" Jack Granger. Tom takes on Granger's identity to assist his father John Granger in his feud with his evil neighbor Lance Holcomb and his even more evil mother. The reason for the feud is a piece of land on which lies a gold mine. Tom knows how to win the battle to mine. He then tells Sheila, the daughter of John Granger, his true identity and that he is in love with her.
