The Crooked Trail plot

"A NEW SADDLE AND GUN SAGA!"

Jim Blake saves the criminal Harve Tarlton and the Good Samaritan Estaban Solano from dehydration and certain death. Then Jim gets the idea to rehabilitate Harve. Not much later, Jim even decides to make Harve a partner, after which they plan a robbery of the local gold mine together.
