After his girlfriend kicks him out, cowboy Jim Cleve (Antonio Moreno) heads for the wild west. He gets a temporary job at a ranch, but is soon fired again. Discouraged, he joins a gang of robbers. However, when the gang leader, Gulden (Gibson Gowland), kidnaps the beautiful Joan Randle (Helene Chadwick), he repents. Based on the story of Zane Grey.
